- JOB PURPOSE
To ensure that any work activity that requires a PTW is fully understood by all personnel and that PTW are issued to qualified and approved personnel only.
To ensure safe isolation/operation of the plant to minimise risk to people, and meet commissioning and operational activities
- JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure that subcontractor’s personnel are adequately trained in PTW procedures and that works covered by a PTW are conducted in a safe and productive manner.
- Monitoring the progress of works executed under an issued PTW to assist with overall schedule and progress against approved program.
- From time to time prepare training matrixes for nominated personnel. These training matrixes will satisfy the safety needs for the training of the nominated personnel to obtain approved PTW holder status.
- Attend and participate in any training required to improve the safe working condition in this project.
- Attend and participate when requested in progress review meetings with subcontractors.
- Attend and Participate in staff site meetings to coordinate works as required
- Isolate system with commissioning or operational persons and install safety apparatus in accordance with PTW (LOTO) procedure.
- Other duties as required.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience relevant to the duties of the position
- Experience with commissioning works and the required permit systems are essential
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain same) would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
